OREGON – The Mendota boys’ track team concluded the regular season in the Oregon 5-Team meet on June 1.
Dixon piled up 128 points to win the event, followed by Oregon with 111, Winnebago with 70, Byron with 52 and Mendota with 4.
Alex Hermosillo scored points for the Trojans in two events. He finished fourth in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:20.28 and took fifth in the 1600-meter run with a clocking of 5:26.19.
Also placing for Mendota was Billy Hall, who ran fifth in the 800-meter race with a time of 2:20.55.
