MHS track teams grab 6 firsts at Rock Falls meet

ROCK FALLS – Mendota participated in a three-team co-ed track meet at Rock Falls on April 11.

Rock Falls claimed the boys’ meet with 95 points, while Mendota was second with 51 points and Fulton had 31.

The Trojans were first in four events. Claiming blue ribbons were Anthony Kelson in the 300-meter hurdles (44.85), Madrick Musgrove in the shot put (36-8.25), Jamal Lesley in the high jump (5-7.75) and Mason Koch in the triple jump (39-5.5).

The Mendota girls scored 45 points and finished behind Fulton (72) and Rock Falls (53).

Capturing firsts for the Lady Trojans were Alexa Carlos in the 100-meter dash (15.83) and Mariyah Elam in the high jump (4-9.75).
