MENDOTA – The coaching staff for the Mendota girls’ basketball program was approved by the MHS District 280 board of education at its May 15 meeting.
John Hansen was selected as the varsity head coach. He has previously served as the freshman coach and the sophomore coach. Gary Barrera was named the varsity assistant coach.
Brian Blumhorst will move from the boys’ program to be the sophomore head coach, while Frank Bromenschenkel was named the freshman head coach.
