SPRING VALLEY – The Mendota Trojans will participate in the Hall Class 2A Boys’ Regional Basketball Tournament to be held Feb. 19, 23, 25.

The tournament opens with two games on Saturday, Feb. 19 at the site of the higher seed. Mendota will travel to Manlius to take on Bureau Valley for a 5 p.m. tip time and Hall will trek to Chillicothe to meet IVC at 1 p.m.

A Trojan win in the first round will propel them to the semifinals for a date with Princeton at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 23 at Spring Valley. The Hall-IVC winner will battle Kewanee at 6 p.m. on Feb. 23.

The winners of the semifinal-round games will meet for the regional championship at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 25 at Spring Valley.

The winner of the Hall Regional advances to the Mendota Sectional where it will play the champion from the Knoxville Regional on Tuesday, March 1 at 7 p.m. The other two regionals feeding into the Mendota Sectional are from Oregon and Port Byron Riverdale.

5 – Winner Game 3 vs. Winner Game 4 – 7 p.m.
