MENDOTA – Princeton cruised to a 49-0 win over Mendota in freshman-sophomore football action on Sept. 20 at the MHS field.
The Tigers scored 21 first-quarter points and tacked on 14 more in the second period to take a commanding 35-0 halftime lead. Princeton added single TDs in the third and fourth frames.
Mendota (0-3) ran 42 offensive plays from scrimmage and gained only 67 yards. Princeton accumulated 360 total yards.
Keith Grim had 14 carries for 23 yards for the Trojans, while quarterback Justin Randolph completed eight passes for 59 yards. Dane Hiner had a pair of receptions for 58 yards.
