GENOA – Mendota finished fourth out of five teams in a girls’ track meet at Genoa-Kingston on April 2.
Oregon ran away with the team title with 160 points, followed by Genoa-Kingston (76), Harvard (54) and Mendota (50). North Boone was last with 29 points.
The Lady Trojans had one first-place finish, which went to Lydia Willis in the discus with a toss of 111-0.
Grabbing second-place finishes for Mendota were Teghan Tillman in the high jump (4-8) and Natalie Bodmer in the 800-meter run (2:58.51).
