MENDOTA - Lisa A. Krisch, 49, of Mendota passed away Aug. 30, 2019 at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Rockford.
Funeral and memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 18 at St. Paul the Apostle Church, 340 W. Arnold St., Sandwich. Lunch will follow the Mass at the Sandwich VFW from noon to 3 p.m.
Lisa was born in Birmingham, Ala. She married James Krisch.
Survivors include her husband of 28 years, James of Mendota; three sons, Matthew, Jacob and Ryan; six grandchildren, Liliana, Mason, Matthew Jr., Ellie, Jackson and Emry Krisch; her mother, Rita Hill-Urso; and many relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Melvin Sharitt of Florida; her grandmother, Gert Nicosia; and her uncle, Bruce Hill.
Lisa graduated from Streamwood High School. She worked as a veterinary technician and health care provider. She was a member of the Catholic Church and enjoyed fishing, camping, hiking and loved being outdoors. She will be remembered for her love and compassion for animals, family and friends and especially her love for art and painting.
