SPRING VALLEY - Deborah “Lynnie” Raley, 67, of Spring Valley, died June 5, 2019 at Manor Court of Peru, where she resided since September 2018.

Cremation has been accorded. A memorial service will begin at 5 p.m. on Monday, June 10 at the Barto Funeral Home in Spring Valley with Pastor Alex Garncarz of Zion United Church of Christ, Peru officiating. Memorial visitation will be from 4 p.m. until time of services on Monday at the funeral home.

Lynnie was born Aug. 21, 1951 in Mendota to Alvin and Deborah (Harrison) Opsal. She married Charles “Duke” Raley. He preceded her in death in 2009.

Survivors include one daughter, Desa Raley of Peru; two sons, Luke and Cody Raley of Spring Valley; two grandchildren, Nathan Tucker and Luke Justin Chaz Raley; and her siblings, Vicky (Jeff) Hamer of Spring Valley, Joan Wenzel of Mendota, Jim (Laurel) Opsal of Oglesby, Sandy (Jim) Whitmer of Mendota, Steve (Sue) Opsal of LaSalle, Kim Opsal of Oglesby, Don (Geri) Opsal of Florida, Alan (Mary) Opsal of LaSalle and Tim Opsal of Florida.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and one daughter, Lisa, in infancy.

Lynnie devoted her life to her children and grandchildren. She loved spending time in her flower garden and she enjoyed shopping.
