LA MOILLE - Richard A. Cantrell, 75, of LaMoille passed away Oct. 16, 2018 at the Mendota Lutheran Home.

Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 18 with a service to follow at the Schwarz Funeral Home, Mendota.

Richard was born Oct. 10, 1943 in DeKalb to Raymond and Irene (Lambert) Cantrell, Sr. He married Linda Johnson in Sycamore on Nov. 2, 1974.

Survivors include his wife of LaMoille; three daughters; one son; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one brother, Raymond “Jr.” (Carol) Cantrell, Jr. of DeKalb.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Shirley Reingardt.

During his career, Richard worked in maintenance and was a crew leader in the warehouse for DelMonte.
