PAW PAW - Janet “Jann” Marie Eich, 57, of Paw Paw, passed away May 21, 2017 at the Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria.

A memorial funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 25 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Compton with Pastor Jeff Schlesinger officiating. Inurnment of cremated remains will follow at Wisner Cemetery, Mendota. Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 24 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Compton and from 9 a.m. until time of service on May 25.

Jann was born Nov. 10, 1959 in Mendota to Maurice and Shirley (Sibigtroth) Seng. She married James Robert Eich on June 19, 1982 in Mendota.

Survivors include her husband; one son, Jacob (Jacqui) Eich; one grandson, Dominic Eich; her mother, Shirley Seng; four siblings, Mike (Delpha) Seng, Scott (Sue) Seng, Cheryl (Al) Jansen and Cathy (Tom) Burke; one uncle, Roland Sibigtroth; a foreign exchange son, Fred (Tracey) Umlauf and their daughter, Mia; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Jann graduated from Mendota High School in 1978. She was in customer service at Spartan Tool for 20 years. After that, she cleaned homes for numerous families throughout the area. She was an avid Cubs fan and enjoyed playing euchre. She made friends wherever she went and maintained numerous lifelong friendships. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
