EAST MOLINE - Harold L. Campbell, 81, of East Moline died Nov. 15, 2017 at Genesis Medical Center – Silvis Campus, Silvis.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 24 with a time of gathering of family and friends to be held prior to the service from 1-2 p.m. at Christ United Methodist Church, 3801 7^th St., East Moline. Cremation rites have been accorded and inurnment will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline immediately following the service. 

Harold was born March 13, 1936 in Mendota to Harrison and Arline Campbell. He married Cheryl Dergo on Jan. 20, 1993 in Rock Island. 

Survivors include his wife; three children, Ruth Ann Kendall of Carlinville, Jessica (Patrick) Lang of East Moline and Darin Neal of Moline; nine grandchildren, Winona Rose Kendall, Justus (Kim) Kendall, Emma Lang, Marcus Lang, Monet Schardt, Mariah Neal, Luke Neal, Laurel Neal and Alayna Neal; two sisters, Marjorie Taborn of Minneapolis, Minn. and Barbara Downs of Mendota; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Joseph Brady and Lawrence Campbell.

Harold worked as a supervisor for A&P Grocery Stores. He was a Lincoln Mercury Dealer in Muncie, Ind. and later owned Campbell Oldsmobile in Rock Island. He retired as the fixed operations manager at Key Buick, Moline. He was a member of the Kiwanis Club. He enjoyed his poker group, golf, doing crossword puzzles, watching the Seinfeld show, and walking his dog.
