MENDOTA – Peter Limberger, owner/investor in Starved Rock Wood Products in Mendota, is possibly looking to invest even more in Mendota.
Through Tangled Roots Brewing Company, Limberger is in contact with the city to possibly establish a nice restaurant/ brewpub into the downtown area of Mendota and hopes to be able to make a decision sometime in the next few months.
“We believe in the potential of Mendota and are looking forward to become even more a part of the development of Mendota by creating well paid jobs and help to make Mendota more attractive for the locals and for visitors,” said Limberger.
A possible site for the business is the adjoining former Mendota Reporter and former Meyers Furniture buildings on Illinois Avenue in downtown Mendota.
