STEWARD - Pearl C. Rhoads, 80, of Steward died Jan. 24, 2018 at the Mendota Lutheran Home.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 30 at the Paw Paw United Methodist Church with Rev David Holden officiating. Burial will be at Restland Cemetery, Mendota. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 29 at the Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota and for one hour prior to services Tuesday at the church.
Pearl was born March 31, 1937 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Hans and Vera (Urry) Maecker. She married Elmer Rhoads on Feb. 21, 1959 in Salt Lake City.
Survivors include her husband of Steward; one daughter, Sandy (Steve) Stagg of Galena, Ohio; two sons, Mark Rhoads of Paw Paw and Randall Rhoads of Naperville; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one brother, Easton Maecker of Salt Lake City; and one sister, Doreen Bobinski of Calgary, Canada.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter-in-law, Christy Rhoads; and two brothers in infancy.
Pearl was a graduate of South High School, Salt Lake City and attended the University of Utah. She was a member of the Mormon Church of Latter Day Saints. She attended the Paw Paw United Methodist Church.
