MENDOTA - Larry A. Stamberger, 75, a resident of Dove Hill Care Center and Villas in Hamilton, Texas, formerly of Mendota, passed away Jan. 17, 2021.
Local services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 19 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Mendota with Rev. Ken Gibson officiating. Burial will follow at Restland Cemetery, Mendota. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 18 at the Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota.
Larry was born June 19, 1945 in Baltimore, Md. He was the adoptive son of Mr. E.H. “Ebe” Stamberger and Mrs. Mabel (Gordon) Stamberger of Mendota.
Survivors include his daughters, Harmony (Stamberger) Biggs and Leah Stamberger, both of Mendota and four grandsons.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Larry was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church.
