BENSON, Ariz. - Karen Galloway (Torchia) Davis, 63, passed away July 28, 2019, peacefully at her home in Benson, Ariz. with her husband, Larry by her side.

BENSON, Ariz. - Karen Galloway (Torchia) Davis, 63, passed away July 28, 2019, peacefully at her home in Benson, Ariz. with her husband, Larry by her side.

Cremation rites were accorded. A memorial Mass will be at held 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 3 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Mendota with Fr. Peter A. Pilon officiating. A Celebration of Life will follow from noon-3 p.m. at the VFW in Mendota.

Karen was born Dec. 7, 1955 in Mendota to Ken and Elaine (Eichorn) Galloway. She married Dave Torchia on Sept. 23, 1978 with whom she had four children who survive her, Matthew (Nicole) Torchia, Angela Partridge, Marie Torchia and Samuel (Brooke) Torchia; four grandchildren, Haley, Gemma, Jeno and Haiden Torchia and a grandson due in October. She later married Larry Davis. She is also survived by her mother, Elaine Galloway, and three brothers, Mark (Karen) Galloway, Mike (Shirley) Galloway and Kent (Robbi) Galloway, and nieces and a nephew.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ken Galloway and a son-in-law, PD Partridge.

Karen attended Mendota High School and went on to St. Mary’s Nursing School and became an LPN. She spent her nursing career at IVCH and later did private duty nursing. She loved being outdoors, jigsaw puzzles, and crosswords. She will be dearly missed by her loving family.
