EARLVILLE - James Harrison McNeely, 64, of Earlville passed away Oct. 19, 2019 at Willow Crest Nursing Pavilion in Sandwich.
Private graveside services will be held at Rock Island National Cemetery in Rock Island.
James was born July 3, 1955 in Avon to James Edward McNeely and Bertha Grace (Lashbrook) Johnson.
Survivors include four sisters, Ila Bunch of Earlville, Vera McCreery of Coal Valley, Maxine (Robert) Stanford of Earlville and Diana (Steve) Sears of Andover; one brother, Frank (Tina) Johnson of Davenport, Iowa; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Charles Johnson.
James proudly served in the U.S. Air Force from November 1973 to February 1977.
