LA MOILLE - Heriberto Orozco, 62, of LaMoille passed away Sept. 14, 2017 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 19 at Holy Cross Church, Mendota with Rev. Peter Pilon officiating. Burial will be at Manlius Cemetery, Manlius. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 18 at the Merritt Funeral Home with a 7 p.m. Rosary.
Heriberto was born June 22, 1955 in Santa Lucia Jalisco, Mexico to Maximiliano and Rita (Nunez) Orozco. He married Kristine Crawford on July 5, 1980 in LaMoille.
Survivors include his wife of LaMoille; one daughter, Patty (Danny) Blackburn of LaMoille; one son, Thomas Orozco of LaMoille; three brothers, Salvador of Mendota and Hugo and Refujio of Mexico; four sisters, Carmerina of LaSalle, Sylvia and Ovelia of Mendota and Graciela of Mexico; and one grandson, Matteo Blackburn.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Primitiva.
Heriberto worked for HCC as a machine operator for 40 years. He enjoyed cooking and gardening. He was an avid deer hunter and looked forward to bow and arrow and shotgun season and getting the big buck. His greatest joy in life was his family.
