MENDOTA - Helen M. Lemmer ,61, of Mendota died April 13, 2018 at OSF Saint Paul Medical Center, Mendota.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 18 at the Merrittt Funeral Home, Mendota with Rev. Kent Svendsen officiating. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 17 at the funeral home. Cremation rites have been accorded.
Helen was born Feb. 21, 1957 to Cecil and Marjorie (Goubeaux) Hedgspeth. She married Daniel Lemmer on July 2, 1977 at Holy Cross Church, Mendota.
Survivors include her husband of Mendota; one daughter, Kari (Nick) Pohar of Grayslake; two grandchildren, Nolan and Kaiya; two sisters, Sally Hedgspeth of Mendota and Robin Hedgspeth of Peru; and one brother, William (Kathy) Hedgspeth of Port Barrington.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Helen was a 1975 graduate of Mendota High School. She was employed by Gromann Service Co., Mendota and then by Beck Oil Co. in Princeton.
