WEST BROOKLYN - Daniel J. Colangelo, 63, of West Brooklyn, formerly of Chicago Ridge, died Feb. 13, 2020.
Memorial visitation will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 21 at Richard J. Modell Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 12641 W. 143rd St., Homer Glen. A chapel service will be held at 7 p.m. on Feb. 21 at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
Daniel was born Feb. 11, 1957 to Donato and Nadine Colangelo. He married Judith Horesovsky.
Survivors include his wife, Judith; one daughter, Sarah Colangelo; one sister, Nancy Jezewski; one brother, Steve (Carolyn) Colangelo; nieces and nephews, Amy (Salil), Alex (Susan), Sam, Adam, Luke and Jillian; great-nephew and niece, Mateo and Thea; and his faithful companion, Shadow.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother-in-law, Kent Jezewski.
Daniel was a member of Local #399 Building Engineers and was an avid ham radio operator.
