MENDOTA - The Region A Special Olympics Illinois Snowshoe Competition will take place at Mendota High School this Saturday, Dec. 14 and volunteers (age 13 and older) are needed to assist with the event.
The volunteer commitment is from 8:30 a.m. to noon and all volunteers will receive a T-shirt. Please be sure to dress appropriately for the weather as this is an outdoor event.
This competition is a qualifier for athletes to continue on to the State Winter Games. Organizers hope you will be able to come out and assist them with this event on Saturday.
