WATERMAN - The Waterman Lions Club will hold its 13th annual Gobbler Gallop 5K walk/run on Saturday, Nov. 23 through the scenic streets of Waterman.
The event will start at 9 a.m. at the New Indian Creek Middle School, 335 E. Garfield St.
Packet pick-up and same-day registration will begin at 7:30 a.m. at the school gym. The pre-registration fee is $25 and the first 300 pre-registered participants will receive an official race T-shirt. Same-day registration is $30 and T-shirts will be given while supplies last.
Proceeds from the Gobbler Gallop will help fund various Waterman Lions Club projects and programs. In years past, there have been around 375 participants and funds were donated to the Waterman Boy Scouts, NICE Center in Lee, and Waterman Lions Club scholarships, to name a few.
