TROY GROVE – Due to people abusing the recycling bin with garbage, Troy Grove Township is temporarily suspending its recycling program.
The recycling bin will be available on a limited basis, as the township wants to continue the program while eliminating the abuse. The recycle bin will be at the township lot June 3-7. Future collection dates will be posted at the township or by calling the Supervisor at (815) 910-3500. Please leave a message.
The township truly appreciates its loyal residents who recycle clean plastic, tin, glass and papers to improve our environment.
A reminder: do not put bags into the bin, only the recyclable items.
Also, please do not leave any items on the ground, they must be put into the bin.
