MENDOTA - Northbrook Middle School 8th grader Jillian Younger was recently chosen to receive a Student Excellence Award from the LaSalle County Board School Committee. Among the criteria to be chosen for the award, a student must demonstrate community service, be socially and civically responsible, and have a good work ethic.
