PERU - Illinois Valley Community Hospital will host an American Red Cross blood drive from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 28 in the conference room at IVCH’s 6thStreet office building, 1305 6th St., Peru.
Potential donors are advised to bring a photo ID or their blood donor card with them. Some of the required paperwork can be done ahead of time through the redcrossblood.org/Rapid Pass website.
The Red Cross says all blood donors will be sent $5 Amazon gift cards.
Appointments to give blood can be made by calling Danielle Bourell at IVCH, (815) 780-3387. Walk-in donors will also be welcome.
