MENDOTA – Mendota High School has scheduled Parent/Teacher/Student Conferences for Wednesday, Oct. 23 and Thursday, Oct. 24 from 4-7 p.m. each day.
The purpose of Parent/Teacher/Student Conferences is to improve upon home-school connection. Mendota High School offers on-line information through Parent Connect concerning grades, attendance, and discipline. However, MHS knows that there is no electronic communication that can replace the effectiveness of a face-to-face meeting.
Mendota High School teachers are looking forward to the opportunity to meet with MHS parents to discuss your student’s performance. Parents will come to the gym foyer to pick up their student’s report cards on either of the two days indicated.
Faculty and administration will be available to discuss your student’s academic progress. MHS uses an open house format and encourages parents to stop by the high school anytime between the aforementioned hours. Teachers will be seated with their co-teachers or alphabetically around the gym. Parents are encouraged to bring their student with them to conference.
In addition, free FAFSA financial aid application assistance will be available in English and Spanish in the MHS cafeteria on a walk-in basis any time between 4 and 6:30 p.m. both nights of fall conferences.
