MENDOTA - A team of Mendota High School students, Giselle Gomez, Allison Stewart, Parker Guelde and Ethan Hanaman, competed in the Junior Achievement Business Titan competition on Nov. 16. The MHS team won that competition, beating teams from LaSalle-Peru (two teams), Annawan, Kewanee (two teams) and Geneseo.
The MHS team will now move on to compete in Davenport, Iowa on Dec. 8. They will go up against teams from Illinois and Iowa for scholarship monies.
