MENDOTA – The findings of a feasibility study for possible consolidation of Mendota School Districts 280 and 289 will be reported at a public meeting on Monday, June 5.
The meeting is open to the community and will take place at the Mendota High School auditorium beginning at 6 p.m. Board members and school administrators from both the high school and elementary school districts will be present along with the individuals who conducted the independent study.
The public will be able to submit questions about the study on cards, however, the purpose of this meeting is to learn the results of the study, not to debate the pros and cons of consolidation.
For more information, contact District 280 Superintendent Jeff Prusator at (815) 539-7446 or District 289 Superintendent Kristen School at (815) 539-7631.
