MENDOTA - A new outdoor structure, the Pete Cresto Pavilion, has been completed on the grounds of the Mendota YMCA. The pavilion, which was made possible through a generous donation from the Mendota Lions Club, will be used to better serve members of the Mendota Area YMCA by making additional outdoor activities possible. Lions Club members, left to right, Mike Wasmer, Todd Phalen, Greg Gromann, David Costello, Catherine Wasmer and Bob Krenz, were accompanied by Mendota Y board members, Michelle Barkman, Rusty Stachlewitz, Lori Safranek, Alison Wasmer, Becky McPheeters, Frank Bromenschenkel and Kelly Becker, during a recent visit to the new pavilion.
