OTTAWA –The Illinois Valley Beekeepers Association (IVBA) will meet on Friday, Aug. 11. Anyone interested in beekeeping and wishing to learn more is welcome to attend this meeting.
The discussions this month will include honey harvesting tips, a demonstration of uncapping and spinning of honey and more.
IVBA meetings are free and open to the public and take place from 7-9 p.m. on the second Friday of most months. This month’s meeting will be held at the U of I Extension Office, 1689 N. 31st Road, Ottawa.
