OTTAWA –The Illinois Valley Beekeepers Association (IVBA) will meet on Friday, Oct. 13. Anyone interested in beekeeping and wishing to learn more is welcome to attend this meeting. Meetings are free and open to the public.
This month’s meeting will include election of officers, a review and vote on changes to the bylaws and a guest speaker will give a presentation on honey bee nutrition.
IVBA meetings take place from 7-9 p.m. on the second Friday of most months at the U of I Extension Office, 1689 N. 31st Road, Ottawa.
