MENDOTA – First State Bank has again been designated as one of the top agriculture lending banks in the nation. Every year, the Independent Community Bankers of America calculate the top community bank loan producers in the agricultural, commercial and consumer categories, broken down by asset size.
First State Bank has been ranked as 14th in the country for banks above $1 billion in asset size and is the only Illinois bank recognized.
Timothy J. McConville, President and CEO of the Company, commented, “We have an incredible team of lenders that have dealt with customers for several generations. The personal customer service they provide along with their vast lending knowledge makes it a win-win for us and for the success of our farming communities.”
