PERU - The only hospital-based stop smoking program in the Illinois Valley area will begin its fall session at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 25 at Illinois Valley Community Hospital in Peru.
Endorsed by the American Lung Association, the IVCH Freedom from Smoking program is a series of eight classes that meet over a seven-week period. Meetings are held in the IVCH special procedures conference room. The $40 enrollment fee includes a book and a relaxation CD.
