PERU - Because of widespread influenza activity, Illinois Valley Community Hospital began restricting patient visitation privileges as of Dec. 22.
Effective immediately, no one below the age of 18 will be allowed to visit patients at IVCH and patients will be allowed only two visitors at any one time.
IVCH also requests that people who are ill with respiratory symptoms do not visit the hospital or if they must visit, to wear a mask.
