PRINCETON - University of Illinois Extension - Bureau, LaSalle, Marshall, Putnam Unit and the Bureau County Farm Bureau will host a Bee Production Management program on Thursday, Jan. 23. The meeting will take place at the Bureau County Extension Office, 850 Thompson St., Princeton beginning at 7 p.m. There is no cost to attend.
Various bee production issues will be presented including, but not limited to, General Production, Diseases in Bees, Marketing Honey and Hive Maintenance. The presenters for the evening include Anthony Gedritis, U of I Extension Master Naturalist; Bill Cunico, Illinois Valley Beekeepers Association; and Doug Gucker, U of I Extension Local Foods Systems and Small Farms Educator.
