Area students graduate from Saint Francis Medical Center College of Nursing
PEORIA – Saint Francis Medical Center College of Nursing awarded 29 Master of Science in Nursing degrees, 77 Bachelor of Science in Nursing degrees, and one Post Graduate certificate during its December 2018 graduation ceremony.
Among the recipients were seven students from the Illinois Valley area. They include:
MSN program students graduating with distinction are Jeanette Mosley of Peru and Rachel Gustafson of Princeton.
BSN degrees were awarded to Bianca Bugarin of Mendota, Justyna Ratajczak of Peru, Emily Murray of Streator and Hannah Chouinard, RN, and Lindsey Kirwin of Henry.

Wartburg College dean’s list
WAVERLY, Iowa - Kimberly Schlesinger of Compton has been named to the Wartburg College Fall Term Dean’s List. She is among 478 students the college recognized for the fall term.
The list honors students who earned a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above in at least four course credits during the term. Three of the four course credits have to be graded with a traditional letter grade. Wartburg students take four courses during fall term, which runs from September through December.
Wartburg, a four-year liberal arts college internationally recognized for community engagement, enrolls 1,498 students. The college is affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and is named after the castle in Germany where Martin Luther took refuge disguised as a knight during the days of the Reformation while translating the Bible from Greek into German.
Bob Jones University president’s list
GREENVILLE, S.C. - Holly Roth, a senior Cross-Cultural Service major of Mendota, was among approximately 550 Bob Jones University students named to the fall 2018 president’s list. The president’s list recognizes students who earn a grade point average of 3.75 or higher for the semester.
