MACOMB - Natalie Landgraf of Mendota earned a Master of Business Administration degree at Western Illinois University Macomb/Moline. She was among 178 graduates to earn a Master’s degree after the fall 2021 semester.

SNHU President’s List

MANCHESTER, N.H. - Garret Patti of Compton has been named to the Southern New Hampshire University fall 2021 President’s List.

Full-time undergraduate students who earn a minimum grade-point average of 3.70 and above are included. Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits; undergraduate day students must earn 12 credits in the fall or spring semester, and online students must earn 12 credits in either EW1 & EW2, EW3 & EW4, or EW5 & EW6.

UW-Whitewater awards scholarship

WHITEWATER, Wis. - Mia Artman of Mendota, who is studying music at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, is among the scholarship recipients for the 2021-22 academic year. Artman won the Chancellor Scholars scholarship.  

“On behalf of the UW-Whitewater Foundation we send our deepest congratulations to this year’s scholarship winners, who represent the very best in academic, co-curricular and service excellence across all of our colleges and departments,” said Sandy Dunst, interim president of the UW-Whitewater Foundation. “Over the years, many people and organizations have donated funds to make these financial awards a reality. Their kindness and generosity have contributed to the success of our Warhawks and we’re extremely grateful for their support.”

Olivet Nazarene University Dean’s List

BOURBONNAIS - Noah Delong of Mendota was named to the dean’s list at Olivet Nazarene University during the fall 2021 semester. To qualify for inclusion on the dean’s list, a student must be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student and attain a semester grade point average of 3.50 or higher on a 4.00 grading scale.

Olivet Nazarene University is an accredited Christian, liberal arts university offering more than 140 areas of undergraduate and graduate study, including the Doctor of Education in ethical leadership. 

Bradley University Dean’s List

PEORIA - Three local students were among more than 1,900 students named to Bradley University’s fall 2021 dean’s list.

They include Samuel Becker of Mendota, majoring in Mechanical Engineering; Samuel Lawrence of Mendota, majoring in Civil Engineering; and Pamela Taylor of West Brooklyn, majoring in Environmental Science Biology.

To be eligible, a student must achieve a minimum 3.5 grade point average for the semester on a 4.0 scale.
