MENDOTA – St. John’s Lutheran Church in Mendota has scheduled a special day of community service, “Mission: Mendota” on Saturday, Sept. 9. Projects that day will include painting at a nursing home, painting the Mendota Pool and dugouts, planting perennials and cleaning up the local parks.
St. John’s invites everyone to join them and by working together help improve Mendota. The work will be done in two shifts, 9 a.m.-noon and noon-3 p.m.
