The answer to last week’s quiz is: To tell if an egg is fresh, place it in water. If it rests flat on its side at the bottom of the pan, it’s fresh. A stale egg will stand up on the broad end. If the egg floats, it’s most likely spoiled. (Source: Old Farmers Almanac)
