PRINCETON - Events are continuing this fall at the Bureau County Fairgrounds in Princeton. The premier North Central Illinois haunted attraction “Nightmare” has six more nights to run this month. Doors creak open at 7 p.m. and stay open until 10 p.m. every Friday and Saturday night in October. Admission is $15 per person.
The Sauk Trail Gun Collectors show and sale will be held on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 30-31 with doors opening at 8:30 a.m. They will return again Nov. 27 and 28.
November is also a busy month at the fairgrounds. Camper and boat storage will be on Saturday, Nov. 6. That day, the Modena Pigeon Show will also take place with free admission.
The Huge Winter Garage Sale is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 13. There will be free admission but a donation of food for the local food pantry is appreciated. Walneck’s Motorcycle Swap meet returns Sunday, Nov. 14.
The Northern Illinois Model Train Fair and Farm Toy Show will take place on Saturday, Nov. 20 from 9 to 3 p.m. This show includes large working railroad layouts, tractors and farm toys and lots of model railroad items for sale.
