WEST BROOKLYN - Brooklyn American Legion Post 657 will hold a Memorial Day service at 10 a.m. on Monday, May 28 at the Melugins Grove Cemetery north of Compton. A flag burning will be included in the service. The public is welcome to bring their torn flags to the service for disposal.
Immediately following the first service, a second one will be held at St. Mary Cemetery in West Brooklyn.
