LIONARDO R. SMITH
Mr. and Mrs. Ryan (Jubentina Escatel) Smith of Mendota are parents of Lionardo Ryan, born July 23, 2018, at OSF St. Elizabeth Hospital in Ottawa. The baby weighed 7 pounds, 6 ounces and was welcomed home by siblings Carly Rosario, 3, and Kale Roman, 2. Maternal grandparents are Luis and Guadalupe Escatel of Mendota. Paternal grandparents are Gary Smith of Arkansas, Kan., and Deborah Thompson of Malden. Great-grandparent is Kathryn Jenkins of Malden.
