LaMOILLE – Two men were killed when their vehicles collided on U.S. 34 west of 2750 East Road, between LaMoille and Dover, on May 22.
Randy A. Jackson, 66, of Sublette, and Chad A. Monier, 48, of Princeton, died in the head-on collision that took place at approximately 7:10 a.m., according to Bureau County Sheriff James Reed.
The Bureau County Sheriff’s Department, the Bureau County Coroner’s Office and the Illinois State Police Traffic Accident Reconstructionist are investigating the mishap.
Other emergency personnel responding to the scene were LaMoille Fire and Ambulance, the Illinois State Police and the Illinois Department of Transportation.
