MENDOTA – Children in costume are invited to “Trick-or-Treat” at Mendota Businesses and Shops on Friday, Oct. 30 at participating businesses located throughout the town. Shop owners will be passing out treats from 3-5 p.m. that day.

Trick or Treat opportunities are many for Mendota children

MENDOTA – Children in costume are invited to “Trick-or-Treat” at Mendota Businesses and Shops on Friday, Oct. 30 at participating businesses located throughout the town. Shop owners will be passing out treats from 3-5 p.m. that day.

Parents are reminded to have their children look for the orange Halloween poster on the door of those businesses that will be participating. The signs say “Trick-or-Treat Here” and have the date and time on them.

This promotion is sponsored by the Mendota Area Chamber of Commerce. Businesses wishing an orange “Trick or Treat” poster for their doors are welcome to pick one up at the Mendota Chamber office.

  • Mendota Elks Lodge #1212 – Trunk or Treat in parking lot

Friday, Oct. 30 from 3-5 p.m.

  • First Presbyterian Church – Trunk or Treat in parking lot

Saturday, Oct. 31 from 5-7 p.m.

The Mendota City Council has set the city wide trick-or-treat for Saturday, Oct. 31 from 5-7 p.m. Residents who would like to participate should turn on their front porch light.
