PRINCETON – The Mendota Spikers have been assigned to the Princeton Class 3A Regional Volleyball Tournament to be played Oct. 22, 23, 25. The Spikers are the number two seed in the sub-sectional behind LaSalle-Peru.
Ottawa and Kewanee will kick things off in the regional on Monday, Oct. 22, with the winner taking on Mendota at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23. That match will be followed by a battle between Geneseo and Princeton.
The two winners will meet for the regional title at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25.
The champion of the Princeton Regional will advance to the Chillicothe (IVC) Sectional to take on the survivor of the Peoria (Notre Dame) Regional at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 29. The other teams in the sectional will come from the Metamora and Macomb regionals.

1 – (9) Ottawa (Twp.) vs. (10) Kewanee (H.S.) – 6 p.m.
Tuesday, Oct. 23
2 – (2) Mendota vs. Winner Match 1 – 5:30 p.m.
3 – (3) Geneseo vs. (5) Princeton – 6:30 p.m.
Thursday, Oct. 25
4 – Winner Match 2 vs. Winner Match 3 – 6 p.m.
