Mendota dropped a 66-37 decision to Princeton in sophomore boys’ basketball action on Feb. 4 at Princeton.
Princeton zoomed out to a 17-2 first-quarter lead and held a 34-20 halftime advantage. The count was 53-26 after three.
Cameron Kelly paced the Trojans with 17 points. He connected on three shots from beyond the three-point arc.

Princeton defeated the Mendota sophomores for the second time in three days, 67-43, on Feb. 7 at the MHS gym.
The visitors doubled up the Trojans, 20-10, after the first frame and enjoyed a 40-22 margin at the break.
Cale Strouss netted 10 points to top Mendota scorers and Owen Aughenbaugh provided six markers.
