MENDOTA - Salvatore Frank Cutrano IV, 46, of Mendota passed away March 28, 2021 at his home.

Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m., followed by private family services on Friday, April 9 at the Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota with Rev. Ken Gibson officiating.

Salvatore was born Feb. 10, 1975 in Mendota.

Survivors include his mother, LuAnne Cutrano of Mendota; one brother, Anthony of Albany, Wis.; one sister, Joy (Andrew) Guardia of Springfield; a niece and two nephews, Adrian Cutrano, Melody and Ethan Guardia; and his great-aunt, Annette Truckenbrod.

He was preceded in death by his beloved maternal grandparents, Lloyd “Toad” and Audrey Lawrence and one uncle, Jeff Lawrence.

Frank was very artistic and loved to draw. He also enjoyed reading, especially anything about science and was always excited to share what he learned with anyone who would listen. He also enjoyed studying the Bible with that scientific eye, showing others how science proved the works of God. As a child, his favorite place to go was his grandparents farm where they held impromptu bonfire picnics in the pasture and where Grandma Audrey taught him, along with his siblings, to swim in the creek.

Memorials may be directed to the Epilepsy Foundation or the donor’s choice. Online condolences may be left at www.merrittfh.com.
