PLANO, Texas - Ruth Marie (Dhuse) Grosshans, 98, passed on to her heavenly home on March 2, 2020 at Medical City Plano after a short illness.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 14 at Faith Lutheran Church in Plano, Texas.

Ruth was born May 31, 1921 in Sugar Grove to Herbert and Pauline (Ruoff) Dhuse.

Survivors include her husband of 71 years, Erwin Grosshans; six children, Alan (Sharon) Grosshans of Pasadena, Calif., Neal (Helen) Grosshans of Arlington Heights, Lee (Ann) Grosshans of Plano, Texas, Anne Grosshans of Anchorage, Alaska, Betty (Bruce) Hartman of McKinney, Texas and Janet (Seth) Willis of Cedar Park, Texas; seven grandchildren, Andrew, Bryan, Jon (Holly), Mark (Laura), Joanna (Jason) Schmieding, Katy and Emily (Bryan) DeLaTorre; five great-grandchildren, Jack, Henry, Colin, Bennett and Elisa and a sixth due in April; one sister, Paula Holdiman; a sister-in-law, Beth Dhuse; and nieces, nephews and other extended family.
