MENDOTA - Ralph W. Frey, 61, of Mendota passed away June 1, 2021 the result of a kayak accident.

Visitation will be held from 1-3 p.m. on Wednesday, June 9 and services will follow at 3 p.m., both at the Wasmer Funeral Home. Cremation rites have been accorded.

Ralph was born Jan. 27, 1960 in Mendota to Andrew “Brick” and Patsy (Bierwirth) Frey. He married the love of his life Patricia Clark on Dec. 27, 1977.

Survivors include his wife Patty of 43 years of Mendota; two sons, Christopher Frey of Mendota and William (Dana) Frey of Dunlap; one daughter, Michelle Wickstrom of Mendota; his grandson and “Little buddy,” Alexander Wickstrom; two brothers, Chad (Lori) Frey of Peru and Kevin (Karen) Frey of Mendota; and one sister, Andrea Walker of Oglesby.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Ralph graduated from Mendota High School in 1979. He drove a truck for many years for ADS. Saturday morning was spent with Cindy’s Coffee Klatch.
