MENDOTA - Petra Perez, 66, of Mendota passed away Nov. 24, 2020 at Heritage Health Mendota.

A Memorial Mass was held at 1 p.m. on Nov. 28 with Rev. Peter Pilon officiating. Cremation rites were accorded. Burial of ashes will be private.

Petra was born April 22, 1954 in Jalisco Mexico to Jose Maria and Filibertha (Chavez) Perez. She married Joaquin Diaz on May 3, 2016.

Survivors include her husband of Mendota; two sons, Jose (Veronica) Diaz of Mendota and Ricardo (Juana) Diaz of Mendota; two daughters, Alejandra Diaz of Montgomery and Maria Socorro (Enrique Santana) Diaz of Mendota; 19 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three brothers, Enrique (Guadalupe) Torres of Reno, Nev., Angel Torres and Eduardo Torres, both of Mexico; and two sisters, Magdalena Salazar of Carson City Nev. and Dolores Torres of South Lake Tahoe, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, her twin Refugio Perez, Eugenia Perez and Irma Torres; and one brother, Jose Perez.

Petra was a homemaker.
