MENDOTA – The Mendota Trojans hosted two other teams in a triangular track meet on April 4 at the MHS track. Kewanee grabbed first place with 69 points, Amboy-LaMoille was second with 44 points and the Trojans tallied 39 points.
Jonathan Patino had Mendota’s only individual first-place finish with a time of 2:16.06 in the 200-meter dash.
The 4x100 relay squad also took first with a time of 47.78.
